We wrapped up the academic year with an unforgettable finale as our second‑year Textile Design and Fashion Design & Technology students unveiled their final outcomes for their Speculative Futures for Fashion & Textiles module.

Across the final six‑week block, ten mixed teams imagined futures ranging from eco‑communes drifting on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to worlds where body modification, weight‑loss drugs, and social media have completely inverted gender norms.

Each team translated their scenario into two striking looks, turning DigiLab East into a runway of possibility, critique, and fearless creativity.

A powerful close to the year and a glimpse of the designers shaping tomorrow.
