KHALIQ TEASER ‼️

Lucy Murfitt makes her directorial debut with KHALIQ, a powerful student short film inspired by the extraordinary life of boxer Jawaid Khaliq.
Made with a budget of just £500, Lucy took on the challenge of bringing a true story to the screen with limited resources, turning a small student production into an ambitious biographical boxing film. Her direction captures the determination, struggle and resilience at the heart of Khaliq’s journey, while showcasing her own passion for filmmaking and storytelling.
KHALIQ marks an exciting first step for Lucy as a director. From a £500 student film to the festival circuit, the film is now ready for audiences to discover and for Lucy to begin the next chapter of her filmmaking journey.
