If you know me then you would know school has never been my strong suit. Growing up I spent countless hours in tutoring sessions thinking I was never going to finish. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college when my grandfather passed and his last dying wish was for me to finish school. This weekend I get to fulfill his last dying wish and follow my mother’s footsteps and become an official graduate of the ILLUSTRIOUS NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL UNIVERSITY!!!

I thank Central from the bottom of my heart for transforming me into the woman I am today. I will never forget these past four years and will always be a proud alum.

To my football family…..

I don’t even know where to start. Every camp week, every game, every victory, and defeat, has woven itself into the fabric of who I am. The camaraderie with my fellow co-workers, the guidance from coaches, and the support from players have created a bond that can never be broken. It’s a shared journey filled with sweat, tears, laughter, and countless memories that I will carry with me forever. Walking away is like leaving behind a family, a sanctuary where I felt understood, challenged, and inspired. Yet, amidst the sorrow of parting, there’s also a flicker of excitement for the new adventures that await, knowing that the lessons learned on the field will continue to shape me, wherever I go.

Thank you to the players for being my brothers and thank you to my football sisters that always had my back. I love y’all from the bottom of my heart. 🏈❤️ by @lch_24
