~ so so thrilled to finally share a new L CON release ~

COME ON began with an old moog synthesizer recorded at the @smemmusic in 2022, and then made its way onto a tape loop and into my live performances. i eventually recorded it, but it didn’t feel quite right, so i scrapped that version and started again. something clicked the second time around, even though it’s filled with electrical hums and all sorts of tape machine malfunctions - this version features dear pal @missngmusic on saxophone, as well as @nicohyattphoto on piano. it’s mixed by me + mastered by the one + only @dreamlands_mastering.

this is the first of much more music + things to share via new collective @soloassembly ⚡️

find it in all the usual spots. bandcamp link in bio. + un grand merci as always for your listens + support, it really means everything. xo

i’ll be playing a few european shows this fall:

sept 6 - berlin, germany - @donau115 w/ @foundlingsounds (+ karen joining too!)
sept 8 - porto, portugal - @hotelier_0 w/ karen ng
sept 18 - zurich, switzerland - neumünster kirche*
sept 19 - bern, switzerland - le CAP, französischen kirche*

🇨🇭! what a week. lots of alphorns, trains, bread + cheese, long days, troubleshooting + tests from the universe. still collecting documentation + more to share soon.

what a pleasure it was to work with the @thealpinesisters again and sing for my family in bern for the first time, use a nagra, wave at the mountains…

thanks so much to @canada.council for their support with travel costs, and to timon + annie for gear help, lending last minute cables, all those essential things 🌷

Sunday September 6th @donau115
It’s been such a long time coming! Finally we’ve arrived in the same city at the same time to fill the same room with hopefully everything your ears and hearts will need.. @lconofficial using tape machines and analog synthesisers, and making electronics with acoustic instruments .. joined by @foundlingsounds + @yurisequin making etherial and psychedelic harp and percussion soundscapes with spoken word. We will be joined by a very special guest @missngmusic
We can’t wait to dream away this night with you.
