Hi! In preparation for the new term we at the Opera Society thought it would be great to let you guys know what we have planned!

- Every Monday we’ll be watching an Opera (or as much as we can) from either YouTube or pro shots on the Royal Opera House website!
- We also have the opportunity to watch masterclasses on the Royal Opera House website featuring acclaimed artists such as Pretty Yende, Lisette Oreposa and Juan Diego Flórez!
- With the partnership with Opera North we are able to watch dress rehearsals for their next productions, while they are advertised on the ON website, you’ll get an email notifying you when to apply for your ticket! We thought meeting before the shows would be a great way to socialise and (depending on the time, 8 ams y’know) we could get drinks or food afterwards!
- Opera summaries and important singers and composers will feature in some spotlight posts on here, starting with Mozart’s: The Magic Flute this Monday!

We’re excited to see you all once term starts, catch us at the Freshers Fair this Friday at 5 to sign up and hear more about the opportunities we have for Opera lovers!! taken in Leeds Conservatoire by @lcsuoperasoc
