Thicker is definitely better 😋

WHAT AM I DOING ⬇️

🙅‍♀️ Making a mockup of a gusseted envelope I designed to make sure it fits my invitation correctly before I send them out to be made.

WHAT I DID ⬇️

✍🏻 Designed my template based on what’s going in it. I have a custom, pocketfold with acrylic going into this - thus the need for depth.

🖨️ Printed out my template to actual size.

✂️ Hand cut + then hand scored my lines (against the fold).

📼 Taped each side tab + assembled.

💌 Result? Perfect mockup.

FUN FACTS ⬇️

• these style envelopes are best made with 80lb + up card stock

• I’m having them made in white + black metallic card stock (one inside + one outside) along with a custom foil stamp on the inside top flap

• the guest addresses will all be pre-printed on each before assembled

• these are considered a package at the post office so LET’S GO STAMPS 🤯

🖤 Here’s New York City from a different view…

by capturing its heart, one sketch at a time.

Digitally hand drew sentimental buildings + icons from all over New York City for my couple Yuna + Rick. Made into a pattern ➡️ printed ➡️ cut down with a template, one side at a time ➡️ into envelope liners for their wedding invitations.

I can’t believe today marks 25 years. 🇺🇸🙏🏻

I still remember seeing the smoke rushing out of both towers from my house up here in Westchester, military jets patrolling the sky, and thanking God my dad made it out of Grand Central when he did. The fear, sadness, loss + anger - all felt at once.

As a born-and-raised New Yorker, it hit far too close to home. I created this piece to honor those who were brave, those we lost + those who carry on.

Today, tomorrow + always, we will never forget. ❤️

Tucked away in Walden, New York, this hidden gem has it all - next-level cider, stunning grounds, tasting tours and a treehouse with its own draft bar. A perfect setting for any event, especially weddings (ceremony site is in the orchard)!

Two-Tone Floral Wax Seals🩵🤍

Here’s how to make them with the “Pour + Scrape Method”: ⬇️

🕯️Melt + apply the wax using either a glue gun or a wax melter.

🔥 Continue to heat the wax further until the wax is very thin and workable (use whatever heat source that warms your buns 🤣).

🔪 With a painting or putty knife, scrape a thin layer of wax into the engraved areas of the stamp.

🔁 Alternate between heating the knife and scraping to remove all excess wax.

🧻 Wipe away any remaining wax residue around the edges with a paper towel.

🧊 Once chilled, press the stamp into your chosen contrasting wax color.

😮‍💨 Allow it to cool completely before removing.

😍 Voilà - a beautiful two-tone wax seal.
