Started off this spring with a visit from my besties <3 the comfort of having them in my home… followed by the first TENDERTRACKS acoustic show where i played solo for the first time and hosted an old friend who’s music i love so dearly. then onto portugal w my twin flame, where we ate so much fish, drank our weight in wine, stayed out and up way too late, walked across rivers and befriended elder women. i craved return to my little life in virginia, the balmy heat, my garden, my lover, and my cat. we are book marking summer with a dream: gathering in my backyard listening to country music, low hums of conversation and boisterous laughter. the feeling of togetherness <3 it is a prayer.

now that the show is over and i haven’t a thing to promote, im going to try and say goodbye for a little while.

LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC! diy southside block party with a fundraising goal for local anti 🧊orgs
SUNDAY, JUNE 28TH! in the tendertracks backyard (dm for address).
it’s DIY or d*e these days.

This event is an opportunity to gather with your neighbors, dance, commune, support local artists and show solidarity for immigrants ahead of july 4th. Enjoy celebration and love w/o the guise of capitalist consumerism and nationalism. you don’t have to sit down and be quiet. Come hoot and holler!

this last year in somehwat chronological order; played my first personal project show > quit my fine dining job (love u tho) > went to mexico city > went to miami > enjoyed life in chicago > went to Los Angeles > worked a really fun summer at a silly place > enjoy the beautiful shores of the midwest ocean > visited cape cod and felt entirely charmed > had my last laugh and home cooked meal at the Ole Gossip Farm House > moved… > went to NYC > made a delicious hot pot but me and my roommate did both get fully engulfed in flames > witnessed signs of hope on my side of town

May 2025 bring a ferocity and tenderness that i yearn for. by @ldiea
