LD Media House’s Online Gospel Singing Competition
Could you be LD Media House’s next gospel artist?

WHO CAN ENTER?

• South Africans aged 16 or older.
• Solo singers only.
• Sing a gospel song in any South African language.
• Entry is free!

HOW TO ENTER

1. Record a video of no more than 60 seconds, including your introduction.
2. Start with: “Hi, my name is … and this is my entry into the Called to Sing competition.”
3. Upload your video to Facebook as a public post.
4. Tag LD Media House and use #CalledToSing #LDMH.
5. Complete the entry form using the provided entry link. Your entry is only complete once you have submitted the form and posted your video. - https://forms.gle/USpqnknePSzf4i2G9

Entries close on 15 September 2026.

ROUND 1 — PRELIMINARIES

Scores will combine video views, likes and judges’ scores. Only five contestants will advance to the final. MAKE SURE YOU GET GOOD ENGAGEMENT ON YOUR VIDEO!

FINAL ROUND — TOP 5

The five finalists will submit a second performance video directly to LD Media House. These videos will be uploaded to the official LD Media House Facebook page, where final-round views and likes will count towards their scores alongside the judges’ scores.

JUDGING — 15 POINTS

• Vocal ability — 5 points
• Expression and connection to the song — 5 points
• Distinctive voice and artistic identity — 5 points

THE PRIZES

🥇 FIRST PRIZE — BECOME AN LD MEDIA HOUSE ARTIST
An artist opportunity including:
• Up to five singles per year.
• Music videos and lyric videos.
• Vocal development and artist development.
• Social media management.
• Photoshoots.
