Work has begun to pedestrianise 0.9km of Oxford Street, with the transformation expected to be in place from mid-to-late October between Orchard Street and Great Portland Street 🚶‍♂️‍➡️ 🛍️ The road will close to vehicles, and temporary seating, planters, security bollards, and raised pavement surfaces will be added 🚧 This temporary scheme is expected to be trialled until spring 2027 and might be permanently implemented.
