This month, we celebrate 8 years of London Phoenix 🎊🎉
.
.
From humble beginnings, a few friends coming together to create a safe, welcoming place to play the game we love 🏀, to becoming a thriving family and community. The journey has been incredible! ✨️
.
.
To every player, coach, volunteer, supporter, friend, and family member who has been part of our story: THANK YOU. Whether you've been with us from the very beginning or have only recently joined the Phoenix family, you've helped shape who we are today 🙏🏻💯
.
.
Eight years on, we're still growing, still learning, and still united by our love for basketball and each other.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Coach Huggy. A man who played a pivotal role not just in West London basketball, but in the very foundation of London Phoenix Basketball Club.
.
.
LDN Phoenix was born through connections made by Huggy. Our founding members met through him. The culture, values, and sense of togetherness that define this club today are deeply rooted in the way Huggy lived, coached, and cared for people. Without him, LDN Phoenix simply would not be what it is.
.
.
Huggy was more than a coach. He was a mentor, a father figure, a friend, a constant presence in the community. Always showing up, always lifting others, always leading with love, music and joy.
.
.
His influence reached far beyond the court and will continue to be felt for generations.
.
.
In his honour, a GoFundMe has been launched to keep his legacy alive, continuing the sessions, community work, and future projects that reflect everything Huggy stood for (LINK IN BIO)
.
.
We invite our Phoenix family and wider community to support, donate if you can, and share in honour of a man who gave so much to all of us.
.
.
Rest easy, Huggy 💙🖤🏀🎶 by @ldnphoenixbball
