“One Thought” is one of my submissions that you can find in @mizzacollective ‘s 4th issue “To The Sea” “للبحر”.

I’ve always tried distancing myself from politics because of how chaotic it is in our country.
But when you see everything that is being shared on social media, whether in South Lebanon, Gaza or anywhere else; it’s not a “politics thing”, it’s basic humanity.
I tried to “get some peace of mind” in many ways, but looking away just made me think about it more and how selfish I would be to think that this is not my problem just because I’m not directly physically suffering.
It is my problem. It’s happening literally in the district next to me, south of my country, in the neighboring country, on a world scale.
And it can get tough and take a mental toll, but that’s nothing; really nothing; in comparison to what some people are actually going through.
And the least I could do, really, is think about it. Know about it. Talk about it. Draw about it. Do something.

The Void

In Tarot, the Tower symbolizes the sudden destruction of old beliefs.

Once it’s all destroyed, I can finally sit in The Void, where nothing exists… yet.

Without pressure, without outside interferences, now, I can create what I want, the way I want it. The old crown is down, while the real one naturally appears.

The Void becomes an unlimited place of creation.

Within my stomach,Scraped off my knees

You are the reason,I stay alive”

Paint The Sky

I wrote something a year ago about my relationship with humanity and society, and how I tend to dissociate when things get too rough in the world.
I’m trying to stop this habit, cause being conscious and present in these times is more urgent than ever.
But… I still tend to do this to cope and because I can’t fathom how inhuman some things are. I genuinely don’t understand it.
In this I say “Humanity is Flawed”. Which is, on one hand, a good excuse to make mistakes and accept them and fix them; but on the other hand, also a good excuse to make mistakes and normalize them and keep doing them.

Get Jinxed! 💥

A change of scenery from the Horror but still in the Dark.

Jinx is one of my absolute favorite characters (if it wasn’t obvious…)
