Asia‘s 50 Best Bars

Professor David MacMillan, Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry, visited Le Chamber once again, following his visits in 2017 and 2022.

It is truly an honor that he has remembered Le Chamber over the years and, as someone with a genuine passion for whisky, has chosen to visit us once again.

Good whisky, a great space, and the connections that are created within it.

It made this third visit even more special to have the opportunity to take a photo together and share this moment.

It was a real pleasure to see you again, Professor MacMillan.
Thank you, as always, for continuing to visit Le Chamber. 🥃 by @le_chamber

A meeting of cultures, spirits, and stories.
For one extraordinary evening at CHOMA Bar, we welcomed guest bartenders @dohwaneom and @miztar.lee from Seoul’s celebrated @le_chamber , a bar recognized among the world’s finest.
Bringing their signature creativity and craftsmanship to Miyakojima, the duo reimagined local Awamori through a collection of cocktails created exclusively for the night. Each pour became a conversation between Korea and the Ryukyu Islands, blending contemporary mixology with the character of Okinawa’s cherished spirit.
Beyond the bar, Louis and Miztar immersed themselves in the culture of Miyakojima, discovering the warmth of local traditions, the flavors of Miyako soba, and the enduring soul of the Ryukyus.
An evening shaped by connection, curiosity, and craft. A moment where Seoul met Miyakojima, and something entirely new emerged.
