my beautiful, vibrant, precious Nonny left this world on August 1st and took a huge piece of my heart with her. no one cared for others like her, no one cooked like her, no one laughed like her, no one loved unconditionally like my Nonny.

though her mind and body had been failing her for years, i knew up until our very last visit that she recognized it was me. at a table full of people, she kept staring at me, and i knew as we said our last goodbye, and i sobbed in her face, that she didn’t want me to be so sad. that was her, always worried about others and wanting everyone else to be okay.

she was truly my angel and i will mourn her forever. my beautiful Nonny. by @le_x.i

my stinky tooter crooked snooter turned TWO YEARS OLD TODAY!!!!

of course it feels like yesterday when we drove to pick him up. i love this fella with my whole heart, and i can tell just looking at him, he loves me back just the same. happy as a clam, and sometimes dumb as a box of rocks, i am so lucky to share this life with Blitz.
