For 4½ years, we made impact as The Giving Back Project and now, we begin a new chapter as Lead By Her Initiative. 💜

Our mission is to empower women and young girls through education, leadership, welfare, wellbeing, and skills acquisition.

In this video, our founder shares our journey, the key areas we focus on, and what’s next including our ongoing Book Project with @purple.pact 📚.

We’re building a strong community of change makers, and volunteer opportunities will be announced soon.

This isn’t just a new name.

It’s a new chapter, one we’ve been growing toward from the very start!

We began in 2020 with a food drive.
Now in 2025, we’re realigning with purpose, still rooted in impact but focused even deeper on girls and women.

In this short team conversation, we reflect on where we started and where we’re headed.

That’s what this project is about, making sure a book that has served one girl can open a door for another. 📚
