I just want to take a moment to share a little bit about Jp & what he means to me.

I have been in love with him since 7th grade (2011. i’m old, i know. shut up).
I was in love with HIM. Not certain things about him or bits and pieces. Him as a whole. In his entirety.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have a chance with him, let alone be HIS WIFE. I am living my actual dream every single day, and for that, and him, i’ll be forever grateful.

I know it’s not great to put people on pedestals. I know. But I always had him on one, and still do. This man, from the second I met him, is the only person in my life that I feel really deserves that place. Other than my Nana (but she’s a whole other story). Through all the absolute shit he has endured… he never became bitter. He stayed kind. He stayed loving. He stayed warm. He stayed thoughtful. He stayed patient. He stayed giving. Through all of it. I always tell him that I wish I could be like him because I’ve definitely let bad things in my life cause me to become cold and bitter. But never ONCE in my MANY years of knowing him has he used anything as an excuse. He busts his ass every single day from the time he gets up basically until he goes to bed. Even through that, he still makes time for me, and he is the BEST husband I could have ever dreamt of.

Jp is the most gentle man I have ever met. He is the most kind & thoughtful. He will do everything he can to help people. He is warm, and loving, and patient. Oh my god he is so so SO patient. I want to be like him when I grow up. He is also the best teacher - he teaches me so much everyday. He has taught me about life, perspective, emotional regulation (lord knows I need it lol), and he is also teaching me guitar (which I think i’m doing pretty good at & I never say that about myself. I owe it all to him, though.)

All of this to say - I am just so beyond grateful. I’m grateful every single day for this life & for my husband. I was just looking through pictures of us & I was just like wow… if I could go back and tell 7th grade me that I would be married to Jp Lambert.. HAH.. she’d probably slap me in the face😂
