Hi all! Thought I'd pin a post for those interested in learning more about Faery Folklore, Faery encounters and how to create connection with The Fae.

As I'm writing this zine/book on Faery Magic and living with a feral Faery heart and all that entails, it's helping me really put into words my experience of this life and the different pathways to peace, magic and beauty. I see the world through a Faery lense, which for me that's an animistic, druid and Buddhist lense. So it's all the little things that feel so special and I am so excited to share that worldview and hopefully inspire others to explore a similar path. 🌿🧚🏼‍♂️✨️

I'm working on a lot of block print pieces these days and I'm very excited to share. Could I possibly be focusing on one medium?! Probably not but I have felt very drawn to block printing and making patches, altar cloths, tops, bags, banners and vests. Block printing allows me to combine a lot of my favourite things, drawing, Faeries and Faery Folklore, magic, sewing, dyeing, wearable art, art prints and more. So maybe this space will look more focused soon! But if it doesn't that's ok too. I always have so many ideas I have learned to not be hard on myself if I don't stay on theme. ✨️💗✨️

On this piece, can you see all the Fae faces? And a little bit on Fairy circles...

For centuries, circles of mushrooms appearing in meadows and forests have inspired stories of Faery Worlds. In European folklore, these rings were said to be places where Faeries gathered to dance, celebrate, and sometimes lure curious humans into their enchanted realm.
