no amount of time with you would have ever been enough.
6/27/26 my sweet dad left us earth side. being his daughter was the greatest privilege in life, and anyone who knew him was better off for it. it’s hard to put into words what my dad meant to me because words alone simply aren’t powerful enough. he was my bestfriend, his love knew no bounds, his wisdom transcended the lives of those who knew him, and he spoke life into those who got the chance to meet him. i was lucky enough to spend his final days and final moment with him. laughing, crying, talking to him, telling stories, playing his favorite songs, singing and dancing. even at the end of his life, he did what he has always done, he unified his people and the outpouring of love was amongst the most beautiful things i have ever witnessed. this loss was sudden, unexpected, and the greatest pain i have ever experienced. this was my worst case scenario in life, and i don’t think i will ever understand how this happened or why it had to happen when it did, but until i can, i promise im going to run every race, go to every concert, and im going to turn up the music and sing a little louder on every roadtrip. i feel abundant in faith, that we will see eachother again, in every single lifetime. i am forever changed for the better, and promise to live everyday for you. until next time daddy, i love you forever🤍 by @leafosterr
