New here? Hey! Thanks for stopping by lol.

I’m Favourite. No that’s not my real name…but it’s a play on a name and an idea I had in 2017. I’m Leah. I’m a Hairstylist and Warren Salon-owner by day (La La Luxe) and a musician by night…and a mom to the best kid ever who’s carrying the torch and actually creating music himself…he’s better than me actually lol. ❤️

I spent many years on the PVD scene in the late ’90s and 2000s, playing in different bands, touring locally in Boston and NYC (when I had more time) and creating original music.

In 2017, I started writing and producing this genre of music from home, where I find the freedom to follow ideas, create stories and push harmonies and sounds wherever they lead. I still love collaborating and playing with other bands and still play with some of the same guys from years ago…but this project is something close to my heart. My second child lol.

The sound lives in a dreamy synth-pop space with a soft nod to ’80s new wave and old school vibes. I try to create music meant to pull you in, feel a little nostalgic, and maybe take you somewhere for a while.

Stay tuned for more releases and upcoming shows.

XO

Last night was so amazing. My heart is beyond full and overflowing with gratitude and love.

The support from everyone who has been with me since the beginning and the support from @myrtle.rhodeisland and everyone who showed up last night has me feeling so good today and always.

I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to share the stage with @midnight.psychic and @exhyena and it was so so SO lovely connecting with them…I’ve made some new fwendsss. Lol.

I’m so grateful to still be able to play, write and connect with all of you and your hearts and it’s what keeps me going. I was told by so many people last night that they felt the love from me too…so I guess I’m doing my job.

Music is what keeps us together. It’s what pulls us out of dark places and into the light. It is universal. Without getting too deep here lol….Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Can’t wait for the next show 💕❤️ Stay tuned.

I’m so deeply honored to be nominated along with so many amazing artists for Best Electronic Act by Motif Magazine Rhode Island Music Awards 2025.

Creating music has always been a piece of my soul, and to have it recognized like this means the world. And this could not have come at a better time because I’ll be heading into the studio in the spring to polish some of my older tunes and record new ones too.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support.

If you’d like to vote, there’s still time—it truly means so much. ❤️ Head to: https://motifri.com/ma2025/ and scroll to number 54. Like Studio 54 baby!
