Over the last couple of years, our conversations have went from a lot of laughter and a few tears, to quite a bit of tears with very few moments of laughter. I come here often to just sit and talk with you, tell you about things you’re missing, wonder what you’d have to say or how you’d feel about it. I can’t even put into words how much I miss you. To be honest, I don’t think that the words exist to describe the feeling in my chest.

But I have to remind myself that you’re not suffering anymore. You’re not in pain. You are free from any and every negative thing that you ever had to experience. And I think that is what makes me miss you more, because I would do anything to be able to see that and experience that with you right now. I can’t wait to see you again, Pap. I love you. taken in Austin, Indiana by @leahgrace017
