This is a lovely smooth irisy creation with violet and with both an old school vibe as well as a modern one.
Not as subtle as Après L’Ondée from @guerlain maybe more in the same category as Hiris from @hermes but less of a rooty orris vibe.
This unisex iris perfume has more of a woody backdrop from the patchouli and a solid muskiness coming later.
Don’t expect your ”granny’s violet” or any make up vibe like in Misia from @chanelofficial despite many notes in common.
I love iris and violet very much…

The scent Pissara made in tribute to her Father, Montri.
Top notes are Saffron, Dried Fruits, Nutmeg, Oregano, Cinnamon, Petitgrain and Coriander; middle notes are Rose de Mai, Damask Rose, Leather, Orris Root, Jasmine Sambac and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Oud Palao, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Oak, Vetiver, Cedar and Tonka Bean. It’s comforting, with a Play-Doh plush center from the Orris root. And spicy, And creamy. Even though the notes are warm I love it in the summer because there’s a feel of simmering that just goes with the vibe of the heat. 🔥 taken in Summer Vibes by @leahscoffee

I love An Indian Summer by La Fleur by Livvy because I love limes. They’re sweet, tangy, cold, and refreshing—they are happiness bottled. Indian Summer opens with that same sparkling sensation, like squeezing a fresh lime into an icy drink and taking the first sip.

But the drydown 👀.
The bright citrus softens into something gently floral and warmly spiced. It reminds me of the pith of the lime—that slightly bitter, aromatic part of the fruit with its own presence. Dry, spices emerge, glowing around the edges rather than announcing themselves. It brings to mind the season of Indian Summer, when oppressive heat gives way to lazy, golden afternoons beneath impossibly blue skies and everything washed in sepia light.

Transparent white flowers lift the gentle sweetness of coconut and jasmine, while patchouli, styrax, and hay create a warm, sun-dried base. The result is luminous rather than heavy.

A favorite surprise is the infamous gasoline note as found in vintage Shalimar. That beautiful, volatile facet has become increasingly difficult to find in modern perfumery, and I was delighted to catch it here. It gives the composition an unexpected vintage elegance without feeling dated.

Although this is an easy recommendation for spring and summer, I’ve come to appreciate it just as much in cooler weather. The spices seem to shoulder forward when the temperature drops, making the fragrance feel wonderfully warm.

I think a man could wear this with every bit as much pleasure as a woman. On my clothes, several sprays easily carried me through the workday.
