One year since I officially started at @futurehistorymgmt. To say it has been transformative would be the understatement of a lifetime.

I am so very glad and fortunate to work with great humans & brilliant artists. Thank you to @ryanfuturefuneral & @andycoppingofficial for the belief and to @splitchainband @asitisofficial @thornhillmelb @wearezetra @ando__san & @vianova.band for the trust. by @leandermg

Split Chain x Epitaph Records ⛓️💙🤝🥳
Could not be happier to see the Chain boys land right. The global 'Taph team have been so welcoming and supportive of the band’s vision and plans. Brett G is as real a dude as it gets.
A bright future lies ahead, starting today with the brilliant new single (Re)-Extract featuring Softcult.
Shout out @kelpinchin & @grant_fm for a cracking production & mastering job, as always.

A privilege to be joining the team at @futurehistorymgmt 🩵

I first met @ryanfuturefuneral at Newport TJs in 2003 when my old band supported FFAF at one of Ry's first shows. Stayed mates ever since, and now here we are. Very excited for this new chapter with @splitchainband & more... by @leandermg

Last night's entertainment - ANDO SAN, UNPEOPLE, DON BROCO at Lincoln Engine Shed. Three great bands with the mighty ANDO SAN opening up. It was great to chat with Rob Damiani during ANDO's set.

Download 2026. Wife, riffs, dear friends, old and new.

Bonafide @downloadfest highlight reel moments for @thornhillmelb @asitisofficial & @vianova.band. Yapped, laughed and yelled so much that I sound like I'm going through puberty.

Infinite gratitude to @kamranjhaq @liampatrickcarney @dannikawebber @edchalu @pheehagan & @andycoppingofficial for the epic hospitality.

And of course, big love to @ryanfuturefuneral & @futurehistorymgmt for... well, all of it.

See ya next year 🤟 taken in Download Festival by @leandermg

Music, hey, am I right!?

2025 blessed me with the privilege of working with records which are legit amongst my favourite releases of the year. Thank you, @thornhillmelb @splitchainband @asitisofficial @vianova.band @wearezetra & @ando__san for the music, the trust, inspiration & motivation. Y'all kick ass. And thank you @futurehistorymgmt for providing a space for art to bloom.

The year also saw an at times relentless onslaught of fantastic new music released (I am still playing catch up). Here's my thruppence on the highlights.

And yes I count the Immutable remaster as a 25 release, cos Meshuggah, in their infinite, inimitable wisdom, somehow made an existing record new again.

Here's to another year of dreaming & striving & too much good music. by @leandermg
