Hello there, I’m Leandra, singer of NüMental rock band Graves & the Bad Weather.

You may know me from my viral Soft White Underbelly Interview Video on YouTube, where I speak about my multiple mental illnesses including OCD, Depersonalization, PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression.

It is the mission of this group of degenerate musicians to express and explore in depth the hell that mental illness and life can push a person to. No stigmas allowed. If we have it our way, you will feel seen and heard, and less alone than I did coming up🖤

The music is heavy, and so are the lyrics. Lets all come together in the name of catharsis and rock the demons away🔥

All are welcome, no judgement lives here💊

Part 2 of my Soft White Underbelly interview. If you’ve ever wondered what OCD ACTUALLY is, I explain it here. Please watch and learn, if you’d like it’s SO misunderstood. And can be such a bummer when the term is just thrown around.

Life updates:

Taylor and I have been in a writing-hole working on our first full length album for @gravesandthebadweather - and it’s heavy af. We’re doing things with my voice & Taylors guitar that are pushing us both as musicians- I can’t wait till we finally release it.

I’ve been auditioning my butt off for acting and musical theater gigs- and I’ve had call backs for some dream roles, and I’m constantly trying to perfect my auditioning techniques.

And the physical & mental health maintenance continues.

Try, try, and try again. The behind the scenes work is real.

If you don’t know my lore- I’m obsessed with Lord of the Rings, and Elijah Wood has been my TOP guy since I was 11. This moment was insane.
