Happy birthday Mum ❤️I can’t believe it’s been 5 months already. Time has passed so fast, yet it feels like you’ve been gone for so long. We miss you so much.You’ve already missed so much in such a short time, and it’s hard to accept you’re not here with us. It feels so unfair. Quinny and Effie have started preschool and I know you would have loved seeing them in their uniforms. Paddy has grown so tall too. I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s taller than you.Pads also learnt to ride his bike. It took him a while but he was so proud of himself, and I know you would have been too.We’re taking Dad to Berlin in March, can you believe we’ve managed to get him on a city break? I know you’ll be fuming you’re not coming with us. He also spent your Tesco Clubcard vouchers on his weekly shop. Don’t worry, I told him exactly how you would feel about that.I miss you in the big moments, but even more in the small ones. Calling you to tell you about our day, asking for recipe advice, or popping in for a Diet Coke. You’ll be pleased to know Dad has kept them stocked up.Lauren hosted Christmas this year and did such a good job. Christmas was hard, but we did our best for you and your favourite time of year.We’ve been doing the meadows walk with Dad and stopping at the Riverbank for a coffee. It feels like a nice way to feel close to you.The boys asked if they could blow out the candles on your cake this year, and I told them you wouldn’t mind. Dad has been amazing, but I know he’s hurting so much. I miss our family being whole.We’re opening Paddy’s bar today for your birthday and will raise a glass to you. You always loved your birthday, so this milestone feels extra hard. You came to me in my dreams this month, it felt so real and normal. I hope you visit me again.Life feels strange without you.
