If you are not learning about Non QM and DSCR loans, you may be missing a whole lane of opportunity. 👀
Not every borrower fits inside the traditional loan box.
And not every referral partner is looking for the same basic product knowledge.
Investors. Self employed borrowers. Real estate agents with unique clients. Borrowers who need a different way to qualify.
This is why product knowledge matters.
The more you understand what options exist, the better questions you can ask, and the better you can serve the client in front of you.

Be your own billboard. 📣

Tell people you're a Loan Officer. Tell your friends, family, the person next to you at the coffee shop, and the person sitting next to you on the plane.

Because everyone lives somewhere, and everyone knows someone who needs a mortgage. 🏡

When you’re new to the industry, one of the best things you can do is build real relationships.

Open houses are a great place to start. Get out there, meet Realtors, introduce yourself, save their contact info, and follow up after.

Relationships build business. 👏
