six months in the making, 29 unique hand-drawn numerals and more than 1,500 possible combinations. keeping things fresh, loud and colorful every single minute. this is the watch face i designed for the @google pixel watch 4!!!

endless thanks to the G team, especially @gabrielanamie 💕 and andrew, for all the trust, and to my agent hanna 💕 @thisis_jelly for helping me through it all!

@julialago 💕 who helped me figure out how all these numerals could work together and still look cool. @rodrigosaiani always making sure my crazy ideas actually worked. @lucaspqnasci for helping me shape the direction of the images and videos, and @lukaskawakami bringing it all to life in 3d and putting this BEAUTIFUL watch in motion!

A colaboração entre o designer letrista carioca Lebassis e o designer e ilustrador mineiro Lucas Dasc resulta em uma composição vibrante, inspirada na forma como KAYTRANADA transita entre house, funk, R&B, hip-hop e diferentes vertentes da música eletrônica.

A variedade de tipografias busca representar essa combinação de ritmos, influências e camadas presentes em sua música, refletindo também o encontro entre os diferentes repertórios visuais dos dois artistas.

they say the year only really starts after carnaval. i agree.
but first, i wanted to share these artworks i had the most fun
creating for @apple. ✨

my idea was to lean more into the costume, music, and
fashion side of carnaval in brazil. it’s a special moment to
dress up in ways you wait for all year. outfits with illegal
amounts of glitter, makeup surviving exactly one bloco,
questionable decisions, the whole vibe. can't wait.
