✨ Russian Fireworks — what an ELECTRIFYING and thrilling evening with the Texas Medical Center Orchestra! ✨Still on cloud nine from our amazing concert… What a way to wrap up our 26th season! From the dazzling opening of Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila to the monumental ending of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition — this concert was one giant WOW from beginning to end. Our phenomenal soloist, pianist @diegocaetanopiano delivered a breathtaking performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, bringing extraordinary depth, poetry, and emotional intensity to the stage. His incredible talent, passion, and fearless brilliance mesmerized our audience and moved many to tears. 🎹After intermission, the orchestra performed Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, accompanied by a stunning live photography specially curated by Anne Massoni and the Houston Center for Photography. The combination of music and imagery created an immersive and deeply moving experience that transformed the concert hall into a living gallery of sound and visual storytelling.My dear musicians of the @tmcorchestra played with incredible passion, power, and heart throughout the evening, and the energy from our wonderful audience made the night feel truly magical. 💙Closing our 26th season in this way felt both emotional and deeply fulfilling.
