Last spring, I on-set dressed a powerful and moving doc for production designer @violetoven — HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY — directed by @samfeder_1. Premiering earlier this year @sundanceorg, @heightenedscrutiny follows ACLU attorney @chasestrangio’s landmark battle to the Supreme Court to overturn Tennessee’s ban on transgender adolescents’ life-saving healthcare. The doc goes further by framing Strangio’s case (United States v. Skrmetti) in a larger context, as 20+ artists, academics, lawyers, and journalists argue the ways in which biased media fuels the wave of anti-trans sentiment and legislation, ultimately threatening democracy itself. It was such an honor not only to maintain the diner set build while shooting, but listening to these voices advocate on behalf of our most vulnerable is something I will keep with me forever. ❤️ HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY is the centerpiece film screening tonight @newfest (through June 2).

On set dressed this ESPN x Aquaman 2 promo for pd @roxymartinezmichaud 🌊💙🌊 Probably my fav commercial set to date — dressing in those rocks, coral, and iridescence into the ocean set 😩 (just behind the bedroom’s wild wall on wheels!) was kinda a dream!! 🪼💕
