History isnโ€™t just made, itโ€™s engineered!! For years, the name Lembawe9 carried significant weight in the Moroccan underground, serving as a respected mentor who elevated emerging talent. But true pioneers rarely stay comfortable. Walking away from the established fame of his previous moniker, he chose to strip everything down and start completely from the bottom, reinventing himself under a new, uncompromising persona: DaBenz. The gamble paid off. Armed with an aggressive sonic vision originally conceptualized back in 2020, @ledabenz has officially pushed the Rage rap subgenre into the Moroccan mainstream. His breakout single, โ€œDan Bilzerianโ€originally recorded in 2024 and teased live at Casablancaโ€™s Positive School sparked a cultural shift upon its release from his EP, 5 Years Later. What followed was a masterclass in independent execution: @ledabenz took absolute creative control, writing, recording, and pre-mixing the project entirely himself. When the track went viral, he bypassed traditional music video tropes and issued a raw call to his fans, capturing the unedited spirit of the streets alongside local dancers and graffiti artists. The cultural impact was immediate. The trackโ€™s unapologetic luxury themes caught the attention of major figures like @simolifedotcom and @danbilzerian himself, sending shockwaves through TikTok and Instagram. Today, the record sits comfortably at #1 on @spotifymorocco โ€˜s Viral 50 and anchors major editorial playlists like LBUZZ. By trading past security for a bold new identity, @ledabenz didnโ€™t just chase the charts, he built a brand-new blueprint for Moroccan hip-hop. The Rage era has officially arrived! #dabenz #moroccanrap #whiteblock taken in Morocco by @ledabenz
