new mexico!! this week gave me something i don’t think i’ll ever be able to fully put into words. i was blessed with the chance to sing and share my voice in such a beautiful place, but what i’m taking home means so much more than the music.

the people i met here changed me. listening to everyone’s stories, where they came from, what they’ve been through, and what brought them here reminded me how many different lives and hearts exist in this world. they made me realize that the way you take what you are given in this world shapes the experience you have. you can keep sitting with the weight of regrets and what's behind you, or you can choose to "rise up" and decide it's not the end of your story.

this trip taught me something i don’t want to forget: never hold back from loving people while you have them. time moves too fast, and you never really know how long you’ll get with someone. everyone says this so often and it begins to sound cliche but time really is such a precious thing we get with our people. do what you are called to, but don't get so lost in it that you forget to enjoy and appreciate what life has to offer while we're here. i am truly so greatful for every one of you girls i will always hold this trip so dearly in my heart ❤️ by @lee4eva10908
