This last week has been challenging. I strained my hamstring and am in PT. I was so disappointed because lifting weights is like delivering a love letter to myself. I am thankful the outcome wasn’t worse and am determined to say with optimism that, I only have 6-8 weeks of recovery. I have business projects and back to school shopping to complete. Yard work, appointments, home maintenance..and the list goes on. And so I decided to capture this; an image that says the gym was hard today. Like really hard especially with limitations but I showed up. I felt weak and slightly awkward. I went in tired and came out exhausted but I showed up and worked hard. It can be exhausting making all of the decisions and completely all the tasks and making all of the money and handling all of the discipline, cooking, and driving ... And yet I am GRATEFUL. I have peace in every season and thank God for the call on my life. The best decision I’ve ever made was to give my life to Jesus Christ, pick up His cross, and follow Him. And the 2nd was to show up as ME. #strengthinweakness. Stay active, people. It’s good for you. by @leeann.prather
