Leeds newest brunch spot?!

As soon as I found out @theswinebistro have a new Sunday brunch menu, I booked immediately!! I love this spot so much, every time we go, we have the best experience so I couldn't wait to get my hands on their newest plates.

Steak and eggs are my go to brunch dish so I knew I'd have to try. The steak was perfectly cooked and the chilli crisp added such a nice warmth but I really do have to shout out how well the eggs were cooked. A perfect runny yolk and crispy edges always gets me!! 💛

We also tried the @herecomes_thebun brekkie bun, which is PACKED full of everything you'd want in your breakfast sandwich. This was just as good as when we visited the hatch when it first opened!! Maybe even better to be honest??

They've also brought back their cornbread from the Greedy Pig days and it was sooooo delicious! Earthy baked goodness with maple syrup butter on the side to slather all over.

To top it all off they have unlimited coffee refills and the most delicious berry iced tea. ☕🤎

A two Michelin star tray ⭐⭐

@thenedlondon has done it AGAIN with the INTERSTELLAR x La Barbecue pop up for the second year with this incredible BBQ tray packed full to the brim with smoked meats straight from the heart of Texas.

The platter brings together pulled lamb shoulder, peach tea glazed pork bites, pork ribs, a HUGE beef short rib, chopped cheese sausages, Texas toast, mac & cheese, beet salad, BBQ beans, pickles, chimichurri and extra BBQ sauce!! 🍖

If that wasn't enough, we even added on the brisket for an extra £50. A hefty price tag but totally worth it as you can taste the love and labour gone into it and you'll definitely never find brisket as good in the UK. 🤤

An absolutely incredible experience worthy of a top 3 spot of my best meals. I just hope this comes back next year as I can only image it will be even better!! 👏🏻

Split the bill in Croatia 🇭🇷🤍

These were all my favourite plates during my beautiful trip to Croatia with my bestie!! We had the most amazing time and Split really is a foodie paradise. Luckily for us, they like things raw so we ate sooo much ceviche, tartare and carpaccio 🤤

We went to so many amazing places but our highlights were:

@figrestaurants the ultimate brunch spot in the Old Town with a small but mighty menu. This hit the spot after walking around Diocletian’s Palace in the pouring rain 🌧️

@dvor.split has to be the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been to!! You can sit outside on top of a cliff overlooking the most amazing beach. It was truly gorgeous!!

@makamaka.acaipoke is located in the Old Town and was a great place for reliable poke and matcha. All the ingredients were sooo fresh 🎣

@k.uzina_restaurant is amazing!! The service was incredible and we had this shrimp risotto that genuinely changed my lifeeeee!! 🦐

@bokeriacroatia came as a recommendation and we managed to fit it in on our last day before our flight. This was our best meal all trip and was definitely worth squeezing in. I highly recommend!!

@mazzgoonfood omg this was also just amazing!! The best wine we had all trip and you can even leave a note for the table after you. We were recommended the octopus and beef gnocchi, so we had both and I’m SO glad we made those choices!! 🤤

Big shout out to all the ice cream we had too!🍦

Bevs, bites and big vibes!!! 🕺🏻

@whiteclothhall is one of the best best best spots in Leeds that just never lets me down no matter the occasion. Lunch with the girls? Whitecloth Hall. Spontaneous date night? Whitecloth Hall. Quick bite? Whitecloth Hall.

We timed our most recent visit incredibly well as the dirty martinis were half price!! £6!!!

I was clearly struggling to choose what to eat as all my favourite cuisines are served here so I just let my stomach lead and ordered from @salma__kitchen__ @mortys.sfincione and @rakku_kitchen_ 🫶🏻

Everything was delicious but I do have to shout out the carne asado tacos from Salma. These were exceptional but I was a few drinks deep at this point and the photo proves that!! 🫢

A hatch with no catch!! 🤤🍔

The guys behind @theswinebistro have opened a food hatch in Headingly, @herecomes_thebun, serving fresh sandwiches Fridays and Sundays. They have a small but mighty menu that's always changing so I had to get my hands on this week's buns!! 👐🏻

I'm so glad I got one of everything!! I thought the Nashville hot chicken would steal the show, and don't get me wrong, this was delicious!! BUT!! Damn, the ragu in the sloppy joe was amazing. So flavourful and the potato buns was the cherry on top. Top tier sandwich. 🫶🏻

Everything was delicious and I imagine this place will only get more popular so I suggest pre ordering online before picking up your buns! Sloppy go and grab one!!🏃🏻‍♀️

📍 Four Happiness, Leeds 🇨🇳

Last week we popped into @fourhappiness_leeds to try their authentic Cantonese menu and we left with happy tummies!! They have a huge selection of roast meats to choose from, which are served on either a bed of rice, noodles or egg fried rice (+£1). As we couldn't decide, we both got the 2 meat combo with egg fried rice. Roast duck is a staple so we both opted for this and I had the soya chicken and my partner had the braised beef brisket. 🥢

They even have their own home made chilli oil on the table so you can add as much as you want to your dish. This was absolutely delicious, a little spicy and complemented my meal so well!! 🌶️

We also ordered a jasmine tea with dragonfruit, mango and yoghurt frapp and a black milk tea with brown sugar pearls from @sweethoneydessert_leeds. I absolutely loved these and would consider stopping by just to grab one and go.

They're also now offering their NEW £9.99 lunch time deal, which includes 1 main and 1 appetizer, available Monday to Friday from 12PM - 5PM. This is an absolute steal considering how generous the portions are!! 🌟

I would definitely book if you're considering here for dinner as we went on a Tuesday evening and the place was full with a queue starting to form.

Bavette(r) believe it!! 🇫🇷

📍 @bavettebistro in Horsforth is a special place that I've been saving for the right occasion, so for our anniversary we booked a table and I patiently waited for a month to taste what is so clearly one of the best meals I've ever had.

I knew I was going all in, so we started off with their comté cheese croquettes, my god, just delicious. Then we had the crab crostini that came a gorgeous celeriac remoulade and the rabbit, fennel & tarragon pâté en croûte that came with their house mustard and cornichons. I absolutely love crab so this was my favourite, but both were absolutely stunning and the portions were huge!!

For mains we ordered the duck, which came with the most creamy, decedent olive oil mash and a ratatouille that you could just tell had so much love and care behind it. We also ordered the pepper crusted rump that was sat in a pool of a rich bordelaise sauce and came with a bright tomato salad. Both meats were cooked to perfection and the sides complemented the meals so well.

The fact we even had room for dessert is mind blowing as I was soo full by this point but my partner had the crème brûlée and I had the financier with roast peach and bay leaf ice cream. These were the perfect sweet treats to end to our 10/10 meal with. ⭐️

Also, a massive shout out to the team who made this evening so special.

@katieobriensleeds has got you covered!! This is the perfect place for a pint in the sun with live music everyday and Baby Guinness to keep you going into the early hours!! 🕺🏻

We had so much fun dancing and singing our hearts out so if you're wanting cosy Irish pub vibes with absolute tunes, this is THE spot to take your mate's!! ☘️

Alfonsososo good 🤎🥪🌻

Is it just me or have deli style subs taken over Leeds in this past year?? I was in town so decided to pop into @alfonsosdeli and luckily they had their Porco Grasso special on, so I ordered one of those and the Cubano de Veduras and absolutely scranned them!!

The special was full of flavour and had a jus to dip into. Sandwich heaven. The Cubano de Veduras was packed with veg and so cheesy.

It was absolutely deeelish and the team were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to make my way through their menu!!🏃🏻‍♀️

Maybe I need to get serious and start a sub series??

When nobody can agree on where to eat, send them this!! 🍽️

We recently tried @pandamamiwakefield an all you can eat buffet with a huge array of dishes from all over the world. 🌍

There's a fresh sushi bar, cooked to order barbecue and teppanyaki, an entire fish station including prawns, crab, squid, mussels, it was endless!! They even have a roast meats section if you're fancying a Sunday dinner.

I did go straight to the Thai section as it's one of my favourite foods and I had to do 2 laps before deciding what to eat first. There's loads of tasty curries to get stuck into and a massive Chinese section.

At this point I needed a serious nap, but not before I checked out the dessert station with just as much choice. So many cakes, an ice cream machine, pick & mix and most importantly, two chocolate fountains!! 🍦🍰🧡

Safe to say you won't be leaving hungry!! 🤰🏻

Taco bout a good time! 🌮🌵🥑

One of my absolute favourite foods is Mexican so as soon as I heard @thisismadre was landing in Leeds, I knew I'd have to eventually try their entire menu.

Obviously started with their margs, which are some of my favourites in Leeds. 🍸

The atmosphere is great and the interior is gorgeous. This is definitely the spot to go with your besties to chat shit, get drunk and eat so much food!!

This might be controversial but the caesar salad absolutely blew me away, I could eat this every single day and pairing it with a plethora of tacos only makes it better. Shout out to the baja fish taco and swipe to see all the other great bites we had!!

Another great addition to my favourite city!! 🩷

@dukesdesserts_ in Headingly have just added FOUR new Açai bowls to their menu and they're the perfect treat to beat the heat in Leeds at the mo!!!
