When a Saturday morning starts with a not so great idea by our five year old and she decides a good place for this bead/Barbie bangle is up her nose. Very grateful to have a Dr as a tenant on our property 😰 The day can only go up from here. by @leelillyleo

💜 Thank You 💜

To everyone who’s reached out over the past month — your messages, prayers, and love have meant the world. I haven’t had the capacity to reply to everyone, so I hope this post reaches those I’ve missed.

To the strong women who carried me through one of the darkest chapters of my life — thank you. You know who you are.

To those who checked in through my wife — and on her — thank you. Illness affects the whole family, and your love for her and our little one has not gone unnoticed.

This month, I came face to face with my mortality. A severe infection under a root canal spread to my jawbone, followed by BP spikes (up to 185/156), near-stroke events, and anaphylaxis from a drug allergy I didn’t know I had. Side effects have been brutal — 2–3 hours of sleep a night, my body in constant fight-or-flight, and my organs exhausted from meds and stress.

I’ve learned my body doesn’t tolerate pharmaceuticals well. From here, I’m choosing a different path — one that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Healing tools like the Miracle of Mind app, Sadhguru’s teachings, and binaural beats have been lifelines. My doctor even said I’ve made him question his degree. These practices brought calm when my body couldn’t.

To my wife — thank you for holding us together, for being both anchor and light. To my neighbour-turned-family, for loving our daughter when I couldn’t get out of bed — thank you. And to Soss, my furbaby, my silent guardian — you knew when things weren’t right. 💜

Healing is slow, but I’m still standing. If you're walking this road too — I feel you. And I thank you. 💜💜💜💜
