Forget asking AI to summarise PDFs. I gave Claude my floor plan and asked it to build the apartment. I used Claude Code, dropped in the floor plan plus a folder of photos from the real estate listing, and asked it to turn the whole thing into an interactive 3D walkthrough. And before “Claude Code” makes you think this sounds wildly technical, don’t panic. You do not need to know how to code to try this. Here’s what I did. 1. Download the Claude desktop app. You will need to have a Pro subscription that's about $30 a month. 2. Open Claude Code and choose the model you want to use. 3. Create a folder on your computer and drop in everything that helps Claude understand the property, the floor plan, brochure images and listing photos. 4. Give Claude Code access to that folder. 5. Then give it a prompt. This was the actual prompt I used: “Analyse the photos of my brand new apartment in this folder. What I need you to create is a moving 3D model of the empty apartment, and then we are going to build furniture into it. I need to be able to walk through the apartment. It needs to be to scale and size.” That’s it. Claude built a walkthrough of the apartment that I could move through, switch into a dollhouse style view, and use almost like a Minecraft version of the space. From there, you can start imagining furniture, layouts and what the place could actually look like. The part that really got me was something I did not even ask for. It added sunlight and shadow based on the time of day, on its own. That is the bit I think people are still underestimating. You do not always need some impossibly complex prompt or technical build. Sometimes you can simply give AI the files, explain what you want in plain English, and let it get to work. #learnai #claude #aiforbeginners #creativeai #aitips by @leesiefken
