"Marzanna" 🌻

Hello my stars! I'm almost back with regular posting, my finals project is slowly coming to an end (THANK GOD). I had more time this week so I wanted to post this as a lil coming back

I also wanted to repost this work because it's one of my all time favourites and I think she deserves more recognition 💜

This is a tradition from my culture, straw doll that you throw into the river at the equinox. It's symbolises ending for winter and welcomes new life and spring 🪻🌻 (almost like saying goodbye to my finals misery lmaoo) She is dressed in traditional Polish folk costume ✨️

Lurking Siren 🧜🏻‍♀️🌑

I wanted to draw Siren/Mermaid for a while now so I finally sat down and did it yeeey!

I really like color palette like this one so I had so much fun with the coloring. I also tried to change the rendering style a little bit, not to base everything only on lines as I usually do. They still dominate the style but are not that overwhelming???? Idk, let me know what you think 🌌

I probably did her because of the following feeling that Lino Fairy gave me. Keeping stuff in the dark fairytale trope

Composition is also different, I didn't go for full or half body, opting for all face shot, so let me know if you like it or no!

My entry for @_hanna.dulset._ DTIYS ✨️🧚🏻‍♂️

I hope that in this fairytale there is a space for some dark magic too 😼

I loooove the idea for this DTIYS, its so Hanna coded 💜 congratulations for achieving this milestone even tho you have way more now lol ✨️ ABSOLUTELY DESERVED IM SO PROUD OF YOU 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I really wanted to draw Minho since he inspires me with his life approach (yes I bias not only Han)✨️ Plus he is so fairy coded that it was perfect for this piece. At first I wanted to do it more happy and soft BUT THEN I reminded myself that I had this photo of him saved to draw FOR YEARS and it was just so mysterious and dark that I couldn't draw him differently 🌑

Although the wings are beautiful and full of this sparkly magic, there are some holes in them (and in his clothes) caused from some damage. I added them to show that he lives on that "dark" side 🗡 Perhaps he was a light fairy in the past, but some things happened, and that's why he is like this now 👀

"Dusk wind" 🌬☀️

Yes, I still stay up at night. Nothing changed lmaoo

Everyone liked the last piece so much that i felt motivated to do another, with simmilar topic. This colour combination also happens at dawn and enjoy this pink so much. 💙❤️ (Edit: actually im changing it to dusk, it suits better and some amazing stares suggested that it would suit even better to the previous one ✨️)

Also, nothing else from my other ideas was hitting right so I decided that will go with sth I have had figured out. ALTHOUGH I was struggling with her face SO MUCH and I still don't like it. 😭

She is more happy, than the previous one. Or maybe not happy but more calm, in peace with the world and life. (I'm actually pretty stressed lately so this is pretty ironic lmao)

"Dawn wind" 🌬☀️

Since I stay up late till the dawn I wanted to portray how absolutely beautiful it is. The colours always amaze, everyday it is different pallete but this one just stuck to me ❤️🩵

I also drew wind cuz I love feeling it on my skin, ESPECIALLY in this hot weather. And those two match so well ✨️

The pose was supposed to show getting lost in the feeling, yet the gaze shows still being present. Interpret this combination as you wish 💜

Drawing this brought me calmness and a want to feel that wind again so maybe I will stay up late today too 🫣

JELLY HAS SUCH AN UNIQUE STYLE IM OBSESSED!!!! I still don't know how they make those illustrations but I can look at them forever 😩😩

It was sooo fun to turn it into my own style!! I don't think I have ever drew a character like this, so I was able to explore a little here hehe 💜 And I had an absolute blast with purples and pinks 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I just really wanted to draw sth for this song 💜 it feels so special to me and it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in lyrics and instrumental and everything

Buut, I'm not that satisfied with it. Idk I just feel like I could have do sth better, more interesting, especially with seeing all those crazy amazing fanarts of other STAYs 🥺🥺 everyone does such an amazing job with their works 💜

So yeah, that's why I tried to add sth special to it so I animated it a little!! All the chaos that was happening just looked so cool. And he stays confident, focused and strong in the middle of all that!! ✨️

"Pearl dream" 🐚✨️

This idea was stuck with me for the last few weeks and finally drew it! 💜 I wanted to capture beauty and delicacy in this soft dream-like state 🌌

At first I wanted her to be connected to shell by those biological form strings I draw sometimes, but during skech phase it looked too disgusting lmaooo and was just giving me weird vibes so I gave up on that idea and just went with what you see now 😊 and I'm glad I decided that because it turned out soooo goooo ✨️✨️✨️

Maybe I will do her evil twin in future and then use previous idea 😼

The shell by itself turned out just so 😩🤌😩🤌 I was having so much fun with it🐚
