Created this 3D model of the Voyager spacecraft in my free time as a passion project. I used a lot of references and original building plans from the 70s to make sure it is accurate. It was really important to me to bring this mission to life, as there are so few realistic renders or detailed models of it. 📡🪐

On November 13th this year, Voyager 1 will be 1 light-day away, after having travelled for 49 years at around 61,500 km/h. To think the nearest star is 4.25 light-years away…

Personal artist-made render, not official NASA imagery.

The Voyager mission. @nasa

Modeled and textured using 1970s references and building plans. Not many realistic renderings out there, so I took it upon myself to create one. #voyager #nasa #c4d #substancepainter #octanerender #cinema4d #c4d #fyp by @leftcg
