I’m just a corporate hack standing in front of a pile of art supplies asking them to love me.

Tis the season for PSLs

My first time tackling this tasty treat with instruction from @dreamanddraw.school by @leftcraftstudio

I purchased this daruma on a trip to Japan with my daughter. Later when I decided to sell all of my belongings and travel the US with the goal of visiting all of the national parks, I filled in one eye, and shipped this to my new home in Denver. I traveled by motorcycle, solo camping on my Ducati to most of the national parks. I still have a few to visit on my list, so the right eye will remain empty until I do.

This isn’t the first time I’ve drawn this msneki-neko, but this the first time I’ve sketched him with my limited color palette markers in my daily @uglybooksofficial sketchbook. Hello November! by @leftcraftstudio

Today as I hiked to the summit of green mountain I saw a ladybug 🐞 aggregation for the first time. The ladybugs 🐞 gather together to overwinter, working their way into cracks and crevices to hibernate. by @leftcraftstudio

It’s rare that I create a sketch that I absolutely despise but this is it! I tried a new technique (blocking in the background color, then adding light details on top) and like I just didn’t get it. Alas, I get to try again with a new sketch on a new day. Here she is in all of her ugly haunted house 🏚️ messy glory 👻🎃🧛‍♀️🌫️ by @leftcraftstudio

The plagued doctor. My dark purple finally ran out so I’m swapping in a new lighter purple and we’ll see how this works. by @leftcraftstudio

Wandering around my neighborhood I found this cool inflatable guy 🤟🎸💀

I also revisited the witch 🧙‍♀️ and like this second pass at it much better. Flip to the end to see the real inspiration for today’s sketch ✍️ standing proudly on my neighbor’s lawn 🎃
