“Fibra Necto” from my recent solo exhibition Terra Machina with @vsgcontemporary.

Composed of 11 different cotton yarns, each featuring its own unique woven pattern. This piece is composed of 341 individually upholstered polymorphs. Handwoven in Los Angeles, California.

Hand-painted polymorphs and prints by @leftyoutthere

Lefty Out There’s official trading card, ‘Options’, features in the inaugural @contemporary100 [Trading Cards] release, out now.

‘Options’ features Lefty’s signature polymorphs, organic, interlocking forms built through densely layered lines and alternating colors. In 2023, Lefty brought the same visual language to a hand-painted 1970s Porsche 911 RSR recreation, built by @tuthill.uk to period-correct specifications. Referencing the iconic IROC 3.0 RSR livery, the car was covered by hand in hundreds of individual polymorphic forms, transforming the racing-inspired design into a moving extension of his wider practice.

@leftyoutthere’s trading card is randomly inserted throughout the release, with Foil Parallel variations and the chance to discover a signed 1-of-1.

Still can’t believe my installation “ARI” is going to be part of the Man build at this year’s @burningman.

It’s an incredible honor to be one of the select artists given the opportunity to leave a mark on the central structure that the entire city is built around. You’ll find ARI on the 12 o’clock side of the Man, facing deep playa, where it will stand for the week before burning with the Man on Saturday night 🔥

The installation is named in memory of Ari Deshe, the father of one of my best friends, who passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. His memory became deeply connected to the meaning behind this piece and the ideas of life, connection, and the time we share with one another.

If you know me, you know how much Burning Man means to me. It’s in my blood. The playa has changed the way I see the world, my work, and myself, both out there and long after I return home. To contribute something to the Man itself feels incredibly full circle.

“ARI” explores the journey between birth and death, two moments we ultimately experience alone. Between them is life, shaped by the people, places, and experiences that connect us.

Inspired by this year’s theme, Axis Mundi, the tunnel acts as a passage between these points of existence. As participants move through its changing scale and repeating patterns, individual paths overlap within something larger—a reflection of the interconnectedness that defines our time here.

At the entrance: “In between, it’s us.”
At the end: “In the end, it’s you.”
