Happy 4th of July!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 by @legacy.angling

I’ve been a little slow on the media update but fishings been hot here in Duluth! With a mixed bag of cohos kings lakers and walleyes you’ll never know what you’ll hook into! by @legacy.angling

First weekend is in the books for 2026! We fought the wind all weekend catching lots of salmon! Walleyes are also in the harbor! I was lucky enough to take out the seniors from Win-E-Mac on their class trip where we landed a few salmon and walleyes on Friday and then Thomas and his group Saturday landing 13 cohos and a big brown! Have a day or 2 left open in May otherwise still handful of weekdays open in June! by @legacy.angling

Captain Joe Baker, with @legacy.angling, took us out over 6 miles on Lake Superior for a half-day fishing excursion. We met up with Joe before dawn at the Harbor in Duluth.

Captain Joe and his crew provide fishing charters that include all fishing equipment, bait, and cleaning services after the haul. Joe, the youngest fishing captain in Duluth, knew exactly what he was doing. With good ole 90’s country playing in the background as fish hit our lines, we met our fishing limit in no time. Like the name of Joe’s boat, we were definitely “Just Chilling.”

Have you fished Lake Superior? 🎣

Fishing continues to stay hot here in Duluth. This weekend we have a huge wind coming which should set up the water real nice for next week! Just a handful of spots still open here left in August however there’s plenty of space available throughout September before the season closes! by @legacy.angling
