Landlocked

Digital Collage, 2026

A collage about the unending fear in childhood. The uncertainty, the helplessness, the contamination of both mind and body. Statement in the comments. by @legallycrow

This Is Killing Me

Digital Collage, 2026

Life is inherently cyclical. I operate on a mental continuous passive motion machine. by @legallycrow

[IDEALS]
• Creativity. The world runs on new ideas. (CHAOTIC)

[BONDS]

Some scans from my sketchbook. These are all available for purchase as 4in x 6in prints for $4 each. If you're interested in buying one, shoot me a message here.

The collages on my last post are also available as prints for $6

I'm in need of some extra cash because I'm moving into my first apartment so if you can help out it's greatly.

F*ck Cancer (2026)
24 in x 24 in
Oil paint on drywall

Grief can be such an isolating, self-centered experience, yet it's so universally described that it feels nearly invalidating. Surely nobody else has experienced the immense measure of grief that grips your wilting heart? Surely nobody else has ever felt this weight on your shoulders, or the ache that grows every time you see a glimpse of what they've left behind. This piece explores anguish and separation by distorting images of my own pained face taken through a thermal instant print camera.

It can be horrifying to watch the world go on as usual while your entire world has crumbled. It's even worse when you look back and see yourself moving on.

The Academic Nude (2026)
30in x 45in

The largest personal challenge of portraiture is to blend naturalism with a stylized color and composition. Reality is a suggestion. The fluidity of the form is captured with unnatural, dripping paint. The warm palette reflects the warmth of the model with a striking cool contrast dividing the view, mimicking the human-like form with its sprawling, flowing limbs. The vertical substrate resembles a mirror, the original tool intended for viewing the human form. The inhabited space becomes a mere backdrop, broken fragments of the room the model occupies. Portraiture is a personal balancing act that requires a careful blend of complete and dashed-off marks. by @legallycrow

Worked to the Wire (2026)
Aluminum and Steel Wire

At age 29, Ethan had a brain scan that copied all of who he was onto a simple floppy disk. He blinked and awoke in an apocalypse, decades having passed. His consciousness attached to a metallic body he had never known to be his own. He had no choice but to embrace this new form of life.

Human Ethan died from terminal cancer. He never lived to know his metallic counterpart.

This new life, dubbed '3-than' due to him having experienced three separate bodies (the now-deceased human, the disk, and the robot) had no idea what happened to his original human form.

His metal body was more durable than a human's, yet he was still aligned with their purpose. He ended up more human than any of them, divesting himself of his own humanity to further theirs. by @legallycrow

A Pest in Your Own Home (2026)
Watercolor and charcoal on drywall
24 in x 24 in

Pests and parasites, abominations of the new world, had gotten completely out of hand. To help control this spiraling population, factions formed to cleanse the filth from their new home.

Faceless exterminators worked themselves to their wires trying to rid the world of these pests. Here, a family poses for a portrait, ignoring that their only child is one of these pests. by @legallycrow

Untitled (2026)
Acrylic on drywall

Stripped of all he'd had, his head now lay rusted alone among the flora. Sprouting like rays of the sun, or petals of a flower, the sharp metal was a poor imitation of life. He knew he could never truly be alive again. Everyone else did, too. But they believed anyway. by @legallycrow
