In searching for the word for this new season, I wasn’t hearing anything as I normally have in years past. Then, amidst the host of birthday messages I received, one overarching theme kept showing up: HARVEST.

Initially, I was reluctant to claim it because what if?

Then the Holy Spirit checked me, and I was reminded:

“Those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.”
“Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”

And so, HARVEST it is!

But harvest comes with great responsibility. It requires stewardship of what is and what is to come. It requires faithfulness, sacrifice, discipline, weightiness, and obedience.

Because harvest isn’t just about receiving the promise; it’s about being prepared to steward what comes with it. It’s about being faithful with what’s already in your hands while trusting God for what’s ahead.

So, my posture in this new season is one of surrender. No striving to prove myself. No shrinking back in fear. Just a willing heart, ready to obey whatever He asks of me.

My response is simple: “Here I am, Lord. Send me.
