It’s about that time for law students everywhere to lock in for bar prep including me!! Although most of us will stepping away and focusing on our studies, there are multiple ways for a student’s village to be supportive.

🩷Respect our study time. Those 6+ hour study days are CRUCIAL.
🩷Sending encouraging texts and check in on your law student. (We might not immediately respond due to studying but we do appreciate the encouragement)
🩷Help lighten the load when you can. (Check grad/bar prep wishlist or ask your law student)
🩷Lead with patience and understand that this a moment in time not forever!

Bar prep is HARD, exhausting, and temporary but your support and having a village goes a long way. To everyone starting bar prep you’ve got this!! And to their village you’re apart of the win too! by @legallylayy

In honor of my last first day of law school, I took it back to where it all began. This journey hasn’t been easy, filled with challenges, late nights, and moments that tested my faith in myself. But every obstacle has shaped me into the person standing here now. Through adversity, I’ve found resilience. Through doubt, I’ve built confidence. And through it all, the dream of earning my Juris Doctor has remained my motivation. Here’s to the final stretch and the road to Esquire. ⚖️ by @legallylayy

Today is my last day at my last ever law school externship. A different path than normal and an experience I did not take for granted. I’m so very thankful for the City of Long Beach for granting me the opportunity to work at the City Attorney’s Office. Every attorney I’ve met, legal assistants, judges, the city council, etc have all played an immense role in my learning and understanding of the law this summer. As I reflect upon this journey I’m utterly grateful and can’t wait to start my LAST year of law school in a week!🤍 by @legallylayy
