@jadorejasonco had the opportunity to give away mini pink bouquets at Bliss’ Brunch yesterday in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this was about so much more than handing out flowers. 💗 @sunday_brunch_at_bliss

It was about showing up for our community, connecting with people, hearing their stories, and reminding them that they are seen, loved, and deserving of their flowers while they’re here to receive them.

Giving people their flowers is at the heart of J’adore Jason Co. We believe flowers can say what words sometimes can’t. Whether we’re celebrating someone’s strength, honoring their journey, or simply reminding them that they matter, every flower is an opportunity to make someone feel seen.

JJC was born out of loss, but we refuse to let loss be the end of the story. We believe in turning pain into beauty, pouring love into people, and creating moments that remind them just how much they matter. Being able to do that through flowers is something we’ll never take for granted! 🩷💐 🫶🏾

For years, I’ve had entrepreneurial dreams that I talked myself out of, pushed to the side and let become dreams deferred.

I played it safe. I waited. I questioned myself.

Not anymore. I’m stepping into this new journey and betting on myself every time. 🌹

I lost my Daddy during my senior year of high school, right in the middle of one of the most pivotal chapters of my life. At a time when everything was supposed to be beginning, I was already experiencing one of the deepest endings.

I still remember the day I found Harris-Stowe State University, a small HBCU in St. Louis that felt like love at first sight. It was far away, affordable, and an HBCU. It checked all my boxes. I told my Daddy I’d been accepted and was moving to St. Louis.

He jokingly said, “We don’t have any family there, but don’t worry about it, I’ll follow you.” I said, “Nah, Daddy. That ain’t gone work. I want to have company and cuss in my own house, so it’s best you stay where you at!” 😂

He made me promise I wouldn’t drop out. He said, “You’re the boss of this family. It’s only right you be the first to get that degree.” He passed away shortly after that conversation. He never got to see me graduate high school or college, or witness the woman I’ve become, but I carried his words with me every single step of the way.

And on October 17, 2025, just one day before the 10th anniversary of his passing, I was honored with the Outstanding Alumni Under 40 Award from the very same HBCU I once told him about. Daddy, I did it. I graduated. I kept going. Apparently, the people think I’m outstanding 🤣🩷 I’ve been shattering ceilings, walking in purpose, and making you proud beyond graduation.

As yesterday was his birthday, I believe this is one of the best gifts I could ever give him. Happy birthday to my first love and forever favorite man. 🫶🏾💗

In his absence, I’ve had a village LIKE NO OTHER to support & uplift me, while never missing a beat. I’m forever indebted to ya’ll for holding me down! Thank you to my family that supports & loves me. S/o to the Midnight Golf Program, I don’t know where I would be without the support of that amazing organization that poured so much into me & made it all possible. Thank you to THEE ILLUSTRIOUS Harris-Stowe State University for taking a chance on little on me! Thank you to Beta Delta for providing me with sisterhood & grit! I’m beyond thankful & truly humbled, I hope I continue to make you all proud! ✨🫶🏾 by @legallynoire
