It’s been a while… but I’m really happy with this one ☺️ Y’all gotta give up on me posting basically ever if u haven’t already…

Since I last posted, I finished my junior year, got my first job, attended Missouri Girls State, and so much more. The thing is, being so busy made me forget to spend time for me. I loved making this, and it reminded me to plan that time for myself instead of trying to squeeze my self care in.
Also, thank you Brandon for giving me the watercolours I used on this. They’re about 30 years old and the quality discrepancy between colours is… a lot. But they were a joy to use and I plan on doing more with them as time progresses. ❤️🥰😘

So recently @maddiedragsbaek took these absolutely stunning photographs that were inspired by old artworks and I *absolutely had to* make one into art myself. I kept it in a very painterly style, but the reflective orb and mirror kept the peice super fun and rewarding.

2 and a half hours later, we have a painting. Its amazing to think that someone like me can just sit down and make something.

Ive had persistent art block for a hile now, but I recently started some anatomy studies and painting a real, authentic body was just what I needed to get me back into art right now.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving today! 🧡 For everyone seeing this, I’m so thankful for you ☺️ Make sure to remember your gratitude for everyone and everything that got you where you are today. You are living, breathing, and beautiful, and for that, everyone can be grateful!

Today’s art is actually based on one of my eyes in my icon picture. A friend of mine reccomended I draw that picture, but I was very drawn into the details on this simple section. I also really enjoy the skin, which I was quite surprised about; I usually dont love how it turns out. I do wish I drew my other eye though, because that one has some brown in it and some freckles around it, and i think it gives a unique and cute look. Maybe I’ll draw that one next time.

Update on my last post: I finished my drawing of Noelle and I think she looks pretty cute 🥰 Also went over all the gold parts with a metalic finish and I think that made it better.
Also, sorry about my hand in the picture 🤮

I recently started playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and I’m a big fan! Here’s an illustration of baby Prince Sidon holding a spear. I thought he was sooo precious!! 🥰
