🚨BANNNNGGGGG🚨 9 pounder couldn’t resist the twitch baby. This fish was 4 inches smaller than last years yet heavier. Easy to say we found a honey hole for spring time.

Lake Superior gave us the goods while beach fishing!!!

Based on the wind direction and migratory steelhead patterns we had these fish pretty dialed in. We were able to fish for these things 4 times.

Afternoon one-13
Morning one-10 fish
Afternoon two-15
Morning two-5

My biggest ended up being right under 30”, unfortunately my four biggest fish I caught alone so i definitely don’t have the best pictures but you get the idea. I even double upped when I was solo and caught a 27” and a 26”. The coho were in aswell but man these steelhead are hard to beat. “No salt no steel” I’ve always understood to an extent because Lake Michigan steel and Lake Huron steel never compared to the one steelhead I caught in British Columbia, but I tell you what Lake Superior steelhead give them a run for there money!
