I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember, but this felt different.

I went there expecting to see Van Gogh’s paintings. Instead, I found myself thinking about the person who painted them.

Walking through his story, reading about his life, and then standing inside those paintings made me realise how strange it is that someone can leave such a lasting mark on the world without ever knowing it. Millions of people know his name today, yet he never got to see what his art would become.

There was something incredibly moving about that.

As someone who has always turned to art—for comfort, expression, inspiration, or simply joy—I think that’s what stayed with me the most. The idea that art can outlive the artist. That a feeling, a thought, a piece of someone’s soul can continue to travel through time and find its way to people decades later.

For a few moments, I wasn’t looking at Van Gogh’s paintings.

I was looking at the world through his eyes.

And that’s an experience I’ll carry with me for a long time. 🌻

Lost in his world and found mine 🌃

Recently experienced the Van Gogh 360 Immersive Show in Pune, and for a moment, it felt like I had stepped inside a painting 🎨✨

Surrounded by swirling skies, sunflowers, and colours that seemed to come alive, it was one of those experiences that makes you pause and simply take it all in.

I carried my own little versions of Starry Night, Sunflowers, and Irises with me, which somehow made it feel even more special 💙🌻🌃

There’s also an Instagram zone and an art workshop where you can colour your own artwork, making the experience even more immersive.
