🩵Sept 6, 2026 ✨ Shower for Baby Stirrat!🩵

And lemme tell ya… it was quite the shower in many ways on this Labor Day weekend!☔️😅

Alright so quick story lol… What was originally planned as a sunshiny warm summer day in the park, the torrential downpour notified us that the universe had different plans for us. The morning of our shower we had to scramble to find a new location because our reserved space at the park was completely flooded!

Well… With lots of quick thinking and consideration of many not so trusting options, John’s parents decided to ask the owners of Jackson Market about the possibility of using their semi-covered patio, since they happened to be staying at their property for the weekend (genius move in-laws💭🙌🏽)

What normally is a PACKED market/restaurant… I mean line out the door… it just happened to be that their indoor facility, which we had no idea even existed, was not occupied for the day and they 👏🏽came 👏🏽to 👏🏽the 👏🏽rescue, graciously offering for us to move our shower to their beautiful indoor location. We literally could not have planned it better🥹

⛲️🪴It was p e r f e c t🪴⛲️

The Jackson Market team (THANK YOU @jacksonmarket ), our family and friends banding together to set up the event, and our beautiful community showing up in support of it all to celebrate this very exciting new chapter with baby boy, gave us all the reassurance in the world. It taught us that while stepping into parenthood will feel daunting and unpredictable, we are supported through it all🥹🙌🏽

Thank you to our beautiful hosts @g_bambina , @mica.williams , baby shower planning team, our Williams/Stirrat family and all of our cherished friends near and far. Thank you for your generosity and for showering us to the max (we’re drenched!) I am so incredibly proud of these graduates… this year and the surrounding years… so many of whom I’ve had the privilege of watching grow from young children to such accomplished, dedicated artists and compassionate adult human beings. Spending the day with them today, witnessing them play and celebrate amongst their circle of close friends and family brought such joy. To see the community that has formed over the years of different ages, from the trust they’ve built through the many shows and creative experiences was nostalgic and endearing to observe. And knowing that many of them will soon go off into their separate college experiences carrying this love and close bond, I hope it brings them all a sense of security and belonging knowing that they have this strong village no matter where they are in the world. And that through these incredible accomplishments, they now carry the tools to spread this kind of love and joy to their soon to be new communities, compounding to truly make the world a better place🙌🏽

Kiddos, you will always be my kiddos! It was a good 10 or more years ago we started this journey together and I couldn’t be more grateful. I was fresh out of college trying to find my way, and you made me believe I had a purpose. I am the teacher and director I am today because you believed in me! So THANK YOU for sticking with me through the years. For always coming back. For saying yes to the challenging moments, and challenging me in return. Through countless shows, through a pandemic and all, we grew stronger together. You are the cohort that made me believe in myself as a leader and validated my purpose in life. And for that, you occupy an irreplaceable corner in my heart, and I am so grateful💜

And so… as you step into this next phase of your lives, I hope you know how much power you hold! You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. You’ve already achieved so much!! I hope you are as proud of yourselves as I am of you, and can move into this new chapter with confidence and strength. And know you ALWAYS have me to lean on, near or far!! You are family💞

Welp! Cat’s out of the bag! We’re welcoming our 4th baby into the family but this time it’s our first little baby boy in human form👶🏼🦋🩵
Only a few days away from our 7th wedding anniversary, and making our way through our 17th year together… the moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived!😂 Say hi to Mama and Daddy!👋🏽 We could not be more excited and terrified all at the same time🙌🏽 #stirratupwilliamsstyle

Feeling immensely grateful and fortunate for this life!🥹
•Bonding with my lil sis during her long stay with us and having her here for the holiday is an added bonus👯‍♀️
•Having the in-laws in town to celebrate and bring us all together❣️
•Running around with our sweet little bundle of joy nephew Teddy🩵🧸
•Having my father-in-law’s expertise and hands to create a few news additions to our space🛠️
•Getting to host our first Thanksgiving in our new home🏡
•And having the best husband as my partner through it all💞
Definitely missing the rest of our family during this time but knowing that wherever we are, in this earthly realm and beyond, we are living in love and memories and are celebrating together in spirit.
