Formed from the millitsyia in 1988, the omon was created to serve as a paramillitary/ genedermerie force. Omon like most counter terrorist units at the time serves to combat tensions in the country but also foreign treaths if push came to shove, The omon after the 1980s was made up of veterans from the wars of Afghanistan and veterans of the Soviet army. During the 1990s the 1st Chechen war OMON was used as a security and ligth infantry force. by @lego_war_posting

The town part 1
The Backyard….

In the US, there is a city so gruesome and vile, plagued by corruption and a lack of funding. The name of this eyesore is New York. Corruption runs rampant through the underground and seeps out from the cracks in its facade. The mob, quacks, and the deranged run rampant. Garbage piles up, and business is faltering. But rest assured, the trustworthy and incorruptible police will surely put everything in place — even if that means using excessive force (and also martial law).
What will happen to all the people brought in by the heroes of New York after their (hopefully) eventual capture? Well, let’s just say they won’t be seeing the sunlight for a while.

"Iron brigade"

This moc depicts the leadup to the battle of riga on the 22nd of may 1919. When freirkorps and pro German forces were approaching the red occupied city.

This moc shows a standoff between freirkorps soldiers and 2 latvian militants waiting in ambush. This moc takes place during the larger, latvian wars of independence from 1918-1920. The battle of riga 22nd-23rd may 1919, was a a crushing defeat for the Soviets. This battle pushed them out the city entirely and caused the Soviets to go on a "white terror" in latvia and the baltics.

German East Africa (GEA; German: Deutsch-Ostafrika DOA) was a German colony in the African Great Lakes region, which included present-day Burundi, Rwanda, the Tanzaniamainland, and the Kionga Triangle, a small region later incorporated into Mozambique. GEA’s area was 994,996 km2 (384,170 sq mi),[2][3] which is nearly three times the area of present-day Germany and almost double the area of metropolitan Germany at the time. The colony was organised when the German military was asked in the late 1880s to put down a revolt against the activities of the German East Africa Company. It ended with Imperial Germany’s defeat in World War I. Ultimately the territory was divided amongst Britain, Belgium and Portugal, and was reorganised as a mandate of the League of Nations.
Like other colonial powers, the Germans expanded their empire in the Africa Great Lakes region, ostensibly to explore the region’s rich resources and its people. Unlike other imperial powers, however, they never formally abolished either slavery or the slave trade and preferred instead to curtail the production of new «recruits», regulating the existing business of slavery. by @lego_war_posting

Part 31 (Struggle in the Tropics)
Ruled by a brutal regime under Rafael Trujillo since before the Second World War, branches of the US government had long wanted to transition the state into a cooperative western democracy, and so, in 1961, following chaos in the region from extreme flooding and storms brought on by the Kaleidoscope meteor, Rafael mysteriously vanished within the waves of the Caribbean. And so now the dictatorship was out, and in came the 1962 elections, which ended with a victory for the socialist Revolutionary Party with Juan Bosch at its head. Now realizing that their meddling had brought about a greater beast to the region than what the previous administration had ever been, the branches concluded that they must reverse course. Formenting dissent within the armed forces of the Dominican Republic, these branches managed to reverse what they had done and have once more brought back the dictatorship, but this regime is far shakier than Rafael’s had ever been, and dissent is rife across the nation. The dissent came to a head with the replacement of the oligarchic and pro-US Emilio de los Santos by dissenting members of the armed forces, who put in his place the pro-German Ramfis Trujillo, son of the late Generalissimo. Once more these branches within the US reverse course and covertly throw their support behind supporters of Juan Bosch, but the new Kennedy regime bashes heads with these forces and now must decide what position to take, if any.

Part 30 (Flames burn in the Sahel)
With the conflict in North Africa rising above all others in its severity and extent, many other minor conflicts find themselves hidden in its vast shadow; one such conflict stuck within the shadow of the Arab Spring is the war in the Sahel. Practically a copy of its Levantine counterpart, the Islamic State of the Sahel ravages its way across the desert region, with branches in the Songhai Republic, Chad, Nigeria, and multiple provinces of the West African Federation. Espousing doomsdayist ideology, the group has found a massive base of support in the region with its close proximity to the Kaleidoscope meteor’s impact site, which has, since the meteor’s collision, been a hotbed for religious fanaticism and cults that seek to usher into fruition their own envisioned world-ending apocalyptic judgment. The nations of the region are hard-pressed to contain these ideologies and cults with their limited manpower and arms, though despite these shortcomings, they have, until now, managed to keep them at bay, but as the world once again lights ablaze, it is doubtful whether they will be able to manage for much longer.

"Last truth"

This moc depicts the 2nd battle of Monte Grappa during the 2nd battle of piave river taking place between June 15-23, 1918. This offensive by the Austro-Hungarians failed and the italians held their posistion on the fortified mountain. This moc shows 3 AH infantry attacking a dug in Italian outpost on the mountain.

Pretty proud of some of the details I've achieved and the Italian front will always be of the highest interest to me during ww1, so I've enjoyed making this moc.

Chapter 2 -
• Potosí, Bolivia
• 2 months in Bolivia’s nationwide unrest

The Rooftop Vultures
Immediately after the Bolivian Government announced the nationalization of all private and foreign owned mines and other industrial infrastructures, the silver mining town of Potosí saw the first private military contractors entering the country to secure foreign owned assets.

As the the streets of Potosí keep descending into chaos there is a certain peace on the rooftop but suddenly disrupted by a ringing shot from a sniper. Hired by [ REDACTED ] to protect their mines, the Rooftop Vultures (or Las Buitres by the Bolivian rebel groups) stalk the rooftops armed to the teeth. Willing to do anything to keep whats left of the order in this unstable country, including kidnaping and torturing certain enemies of the state deemed a threat to their power. The unstable coalition between the PMCs and local militias has created great tension within the town, both defending Potosí against government troops but the latter strongly believe the mines should be theirs too. While the Vultures have maintained peace for now, when will the time come when there is nothing to hunt but themselves. Only time will tell…

Part 28 (Escalation in South-East Asia)
The Burmese Civil War threatens to implode further as the Empire of Japan announces the creation of a Burmese Expeditionary Force, intending to bring Burma back into its fold while quenching the fire of revolution that was sparked in the nation after its independence. The conditions within Burma are abysmal. In the northeast reside the Kachin Independence Organisation and the Shan State Army, both heavily armed ethnic militias that control vast territories. In the southeast are the Karen National Union and the Karenni National Army, which intend to install a democratic and heavily decentralized regime in Mandalay. Then finally, in the south is the People’s Union of Burma, which is a broad coalition of left-wing militant and political groups that intends on establishing a socialist regime in the capital. These conditions that plague the Burmese interior threaten to explode further into chaos as the Japanese bring troops into the country, with large numbers of Chin, Pa’o, Mon, and many other minority groups arming themselves for the impending escalation. The escalation of this conflict threatens to plunge Southeast Asia further into chaos as Thailand repositions itself politically and the Australians dive into the Vietnamese conflict.

The Greek Civil War (Greek: Εμφύλιος Πόλεμος, romanized: Emfýlios Pólemos, lit. ‘Civil War’) took place from 1946 to 1949. The conflict, which erupted shortly after the end of World War II, consisted of a Communist-led uprising against the established government of the Kingdom of Greece. The rebels declared a people’s republic, the Provisional Democratic Government of Greece, which was governed by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and its military branch, the Democratic Army of Greece (DSE). The rebels were supported by Albania and Yugoslavia. With the support of the United Kingdom and the United States, the Greek government forces ultimately prevailed.
