Beach 135 St - Pirates Cove

I know what ya'lls are thinking and saying. There is no such thing. But in this particular Lego MTA universe, the (H) Shuttle line is extended to Beach 169 St - Riis Park. One of the stations in the Extension is Beach 135 Street Pirates cove.

What is the lore behind this station you ask?

Well, back when the line was under the Rockaway Extension from Beach 116 St- Beach 169 St; Transit workers found a ton of shipwrecked parts from pirate ships. The crew quickly constructed these wooden shipwrecked spare parts into a pirate themed subway station with a small Cafe bar 🍸 and wanted posters.

Ever since the station was built, some Pirates began to hang around and visit the station mostly in the Summer over the course of years as well as other passengers.

H trains stop at this station full time, while the A line occasionally stops along the line during rush hours.

This is a fun fictional subway lore! I may have more to come up with lol.

And yes, the real line can't be extended from Beach 116 St because the track is on street level, etc.

LEGO R40 Slant H train action in the Rockaway Beach, making a stop at Beach 135 Street - Pirates Cove!

This is a custom LEGO Subway Station, with mostly parts from a shipwrecked pirate ship. There will be lore to this station in another post!

Beach 135 Street - Pirates Cove is a fictional station exclusive to the H Line, part of the H line extension from Beach 116 St - Beach 169 St. This is a fictional concept for entertainment and fun inspirational purposes only lol. Enjoy this snippet of the action!

The Lego R40 Slant Subway Car MOC is available on my Rebrickable page in my bio!

The Return of the Grand St Shuttle.

After over a decade, this special operation of the Grand Street Shuttle has returned. Operating on a single track, making 3 stops between Grand Street & West 4 St.

The Equipment for this operation was the R211 and sadly not the R68. The R68 used Orange S bullets for the Grand Street shuttle. No multi-colored bullets other than the Gray S existed on the R211A/T/S Rolling Stock. No Program for the Grand Street Shuttle existed either, so they probably used the Franklin Av Shuttle, Lefferts Blvd Shuttle, or the Rockaway Park Shuttle program but disabled the North Destination. Manual Announcements were made.

The (R)ockaway Train of Many Metals!

A consist of R16, R10, R32, & R38 (Surprisingly), ran for today's event hosted by the @nytransitmuseum ! The train of Many Metals visits the Rockaways! The R38 hasn't been seen in operation since the 2019 parade of trains when they were coupled up in a strange way with the World fair cars!

Some other photos show an awesome model train meetup along with some cool Munipals trains with the Lego MTA trains!

14 Street Bound (1) Train

Due to track replacement, 1 trains aren't running between 14 St - South Ferry.

Earlier in the G.O. there does exist a rollsign that hasn't been seen in decades where it reads (1 14 St). The signage was removed from the unit unfortunately. In the LEGO R62A model depicted here, shows a custom version of it (made by me) of what it would look like!

LEGO R62/A model (with sliding doors) is designed by me. No instructions available yet! Soon hopefully!
