![📍Cambridge Cookery Cafe & Bistro is a well-hidden ‘gut friendly’ cafe on Hills Road - worth checking out if you’re ever in the area! @cambridgecookery
☕️ First things first - we loved their @legscoffee !
They pride themselves on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and you really see this reflected in everything they produce. Our fig and goats cheese salad was served with fennel rye baked freshly in-store. We also noticed black oats on the menu and we were told these are used specifically as they have a lower glycemic index than standard oats. We obviously had to order a brownie to keep things in balance 😉
They have a team of Le Cordon Bleu and Leiths chefs, and also double as a culinary school in the evenings. My only regret - not knowing about this place earlier. I will definitely be back!
Note the cafe is open Weds - Sundays from 9 AM-2 PM.
