Drinkable alcohol free red wine is hard to find. Primitivo is not a wildly popular grape in the UK. So quite fantastic to discover this alcohol free Puglian Primitivo called Zero Regrets (by @northsouthwines_uk) which has got that distinct dark berry goodness without being overly sweet. Biggest surprise is to discover it in @lidlgb retailing at £4.99 a bottle. If I haven’t cleared them out, fill your boots.

A remarkable, spectacular @commonwealthwargraves monument to those who served in the Commonwealth & Empire Air Forces who have no known resting place. Some will have been known to my grandfather and great uncle.

Went out for a gentle ride to Windsor along the river, got sidetracked by going up Cooper Hill Lane. The views from the observation tower, across Thames Valley - so key to Fighter Command operations - are worth seeing alone.

It’s a beautiful, quiet but emotional place, filled with stories of those who never came home. A view of the memorial from the gate. The entrance extends in perfect symmetry to the simple white late moderne building taken in RAF Memorial, Runnymede by @leguape

Brought home a little taste of Puglia from @caffecentrale1861 in Ceglie Messapica to enjoy with our coffee. You get these served as a dessert in most restaurants. Little almond pastries with things like cherry, lemon, orange, pistachio, strawberry or chocolate and rum.

One of the most remarkable basilicas in Italy, with an incredible collection of frescoes that defy description. The adjoining convent has a courtyard, the walls of which are adorned with frescoes depicting famous scenes of martyrdom.

Many weeks of work to get the contents of a GHF box properly analysed. If you divide meals/boxes and then the number of people it’s meant to feed (5.5*3.5), you find it equates around three meals a day. by @leguape
